This kit was designed with the journeyman stuntrider in mind. As you can see from the pictures included, it is all about options. A rider can use any combination of the three rear calipers to suit their needs. Most riders will keep it simple and use the Brembo two piston caliper (there is more information regarding this fantastic caliper below) as an upgrade from the stock rear caliper and then use a single 4 piston radial for the handbrake. Having the second station to mount a 2nd 4 piston rear caliper enables a rider to run the two linked for an 8 piston handbrake, run a 4 piston handbrake and a 4 piston foot brake or an additional remote master cylinder (possibly on the forks for no handed high chairs or in the tail for no handed off the peg switch backs). The two piece design of this part allows you to quickly change the back wheel without removing a caliper. Not a consideration for the average rider, but a professional stunt rider will be doing this once a show or more and so these things count.

This kit comes complete with all mounting hardware, a rotor carrier to fit your wheel, a top quality 80" steel braided brake line w/clear vinyl casing, crush washers and components to allow you run your set-up with either one or both 4 piston radial calipers in place. There is the option at the bottom to have a brand new Brembo 2-piston caliper (as shown in the picture below) shipped with your kit. This caliper is the genuine article manufactured in Italy, not a Chinese knock-off that you'd find on Ebay. The caliper comes with pads. Replacement pads are extremely affordable, priced at less than $20 per set!!
You will need to source a 2008-present Hayabusa rear rotor. It bolts directly to the rotor carrier included with this kit . Because the owners of these motorcycles usually upgrade to a custom rotors as one of the first orders of business, lightly used examples of '08 to present Busa rotors are consistently found on Ebay for less than $30. I've purchased them for much less than that. These are phenomenal rotors for stunt riding. They aren't so big to look out of place, but are big enough to provide full pad contact so you don't have modify brake pads as you do with other kits on the market. At 5.5 mm thick, the Hayabusa uses the thickest rear rotor of any sportbike. This means that it's less likely to overheat and because it's a stock Nissin component, it will stand up to repeated abuse like no other. This kit is built to be inexpensive to own and operate, provide maximum performance and hold up to whatever abuse you can dish out.
Tokico radial calipers found as o.e.m. front brakes on the following bikes will work with this kit: 03-present Kawasaki ZX-6 and ZX-10, 08-present Hayabusa, 04-present GSXR 600/750, 05-present GSXR 1000, 05-present CBR 600/1000 as well as others that we are certainly not aware of.
