| This kit includes a 80" stainless steel braided brake line, crush washers, mounting hardware for both calipers and a beautifully cnc machined dual caliper bracket that will directly replace your stock rear caliper bracket. Your stock rear brake caliper mounts above your swingarm, a left side 4 piston front brake caliper (found on Honda F4, F4i, RC51, 929, 954 and 03-04 600rr) mounts underneath the swing arm. This gives the back of your motorcycle a very sanitary appearance, along with making the rear wheel very easy to change as you do not have to remove either caliper to do so. Replacing the wheel is made simple as well, with the detail machined into the rear of the bracket which retains your wheel spacer during the process. This is just a simple, well thought out part that you will enjoy using every time you ride.
Don't forget, your pads overhang the rotor on this kit. This is an important issue, because the total thickness of the pad material on each side is greater than the thickness of the rotor. This means that if you run an unmodified stock pad, the pads will eventually touch together where they aren't contacting the rotor. When this happens, you have no handbrake. Your options are to either grind the pad away where it does not contact the rotor and breathe brake pad dust, or purchase our pre-machined pads. Leave the lung cancer to us, the pads are just a couple dollars more than you'd pay for them at the Honda shop and you have more usable surface area of the pad contacting the rotor than you would if you butcher them up yourself with a 5" grinder.
