I wanted to know just how strong the Motion Pro cable was, so I asked. This is the response that came back:

Thank you for your patience while I looked into the information requested earlier, when it comes to cable manufacturing there is a standard referred to as the JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization), our means of attachment meet or exceed these standards and the amount of force that would be required to pull off the type of fitting used on your cable would be over 650 lbs if properly installed, as for the wire itself this will withstand over 700 Lbs of force.
